ACCA Applied Knowledge Level in Singapore
The Knowledge level is the first level of the ACCA qualification and is designed to provide students with a foundation in accounting and finance. It consists of three papers:
- Accountant in Business (AB)
- Management Accounting (MA)
- Financial Accounting (FA)
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Age Requirement : 18
Language Proficiency :
A pass grade at C6 in GCE “O" Level or its equivalent, or
Exceptions :
Learners (Students), who have other qualifications, will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Minimum Academic Requirement :
1. Year Part Complete Diploma from a Polytechnic, or
2. passes at Singapore / Cambridge GCE A Level (grades A- E) PLUS
3. Singapore / Cambridge GCE O Level passes (grades 1-6 / A1-C6) (in five separate subjects including Mathematics & English), or its equivalent approved by ACCA.

Business & Technology

It emphasizes the vital role finance professionals play in achieving this. You’ll gain an understanding of how business operates within its economic, legal, and regulatory environment, encompassing governance, employment, health and safety, and data protection
Financial Accounting
Financial Accounting teaches effective, efficient, and ethical business operations, highlighting the critical role of finance professionals. It explores the economic, legal, and regulatory influences on governance, employment, health and safety, data protection, and security, providing a contextual understanding of business.
Management Accounting
Management Accounting empowers you to drive effective, efficient, and ethical business operations. It emphasizes the vital role of finance professionals in this pursuit. By understanding the economic, legal, and regulatory landscape, including governance, employment, health and safety, data protection, and security, you’ll be equipped to navigate business challenges successfully.
Completion of all the Applied Knowledge exams along with the foundations in professionalism module, will lead students to receiving an ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business (RQF Level 4).
